Speaker/Topic: Representative Kevin Wallace, Chair of the Appropriations and Budget Committee will be on hand to discuss the current direction of our State's Budget.
Kevin Wallace was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, House District 32, which includes Lincoln County and a small portion of S.E. Logan County in 2014. In 2017, Kevin was appointed to a leadership position as Chairman of the Appropriations and Budget Committee, a major accomplishment for a representative serving the third year of a second term. Representative Wallace had previously served as vice chair of the Wildlife Committee and was a member of the Energy & Natural Resources, Business, Labor & Retirement Law, Agriculture & Rural Development, Insurance and Wildlife committees as well as the Appropriations & Budget Subcommittee on Natural Resources & Regulatory Services.
A lifelong Lincoln County resident, Wallace earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1993. He co-founded American Cellular Service and Dynatek Development Services, which he sold in 2000. That same year, Wallace founded SWT Construction. He also owns an equipment rental company and a small investment firm. Wallace is co-owner of The Wilderness Refuge, a hunting reserve, and Wallahachie L.L.C., a Whitetail deer and cattle breeding operation.
Kevin Wallace’s successful and lengthy business experience has created numerous jobs for fellow Lincoln County residents. He serves his community as a State Representative and is actively involved with the Chandler Lion’s Club. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Wellston and is the proud father of two daughters, Ashlynn and Hailey.
