In-person absentee voting will begin this Thursday, November 7, at the Cleveland County Election Board Office for next Tuesday’s Elections. The November 12, 2019 Elections include a countywide proposition; a City of Norman proposition; a City of Moore proposition; a City of Noble proposition; and a McLoud Schools proposition. Eligible voters who want to vote can do so in person at the Election Board office on Thursday, November 7, or Friday, November 8, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Absentee Voting Board
A little background on this program: The state of Oklahoma is releasing a record number of inmates over the next couple months. Is is in response to new laws that go into effect November 1, 2019. Governor Stitt asked the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance to assist the Department of Corrections in placing recently released inmates into the manufacturing sector.
