Cole Atkinson Earns Outstanding Administrator Award from Project Lead The Way
Moore Norman Technology Center administrator Cole Atkinson is one of only 14 administrators across the U.S. to earn the 2023-24 Outstanding PLTW Administrator Award, which recognizes outstanding educational leaders for their commitment to providing students with meaningful learning experiences through Project Lead The Way (PLTW) programs.
PLTW is honoring Cole Atkinson for his work in the PLTW Engineering pathway. “Moore Norman Technology Center is proud of Cole and his dedication to our students,” said Assistant Superintendent, Terri Helvey. “ Cole is inspiring and we feel honored to have him as a leader at Moore Norman Technology Center.”

Our network of educators across the U.S. provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in today's STEM-driven world," said Dr. David Dimmett, PLTW President and CEO. "We recognize and congratulate these educational leaders and are proud of the work they do to ensure all students have learning experiences that excite and prepare them for future careers."
Moore Norman Technology Center also offers PLTW Engineering foundation courses at each high school in Moore Public Schools and Norman Public Schools. Freshman begin with the Introduction to Engineering and continue their sophomore year in Principles of Engineering. The two courses prepare them for specialized courses at Moore Norman Technology their junior and senior years.
PLTW recognizes outstanding administrators who inspire, engage, and empower their students with transformative classroom learning experiences through PLTW programs.
